People have been asking us for months about a group adventure. So we are super excited to FINALLY information with you about some fun summer plans you can get in on. The weekend of June 20–22nd, we have secured an entire campground for Escape Brooklyn. You don’t need a car, or camping gear for this adventure.

The weekend-long event will be held at Malouf’s Mountain in Beacon, New York. As mentioned above, you don’t need a car, because you can take the MetroNorth directly to Beacon (it’s about an hour and some change–super scenic ride up the Hudson for it’s entirety.) From the train station, the shuttle will take you to a hike of your choice, ranging from a half hour to five hours. While you hike in to camp, they transport your gear to the campground and place it at your site.

When booking, note that there are two types of sites: covered, and primitive. The covered platforms are especially nice if it rains; then you’re not stuck in your tent. Covered sites also come with firewood, and chow boxes which are equipped with pots, pans, deck of cards, etc. They also offer primitive sites for the more adventurous (or experienced) campers. These sites require you to bring all your own gear and forge for your own firewood. In either case, there is a bathhouse on the property with hot showers, toilets, and sinks. There are also several dryers in case your gear gets wet.

We hope to have some kind of larger event within the weekend, but plans are still in the works. In any case, you can plan on meeting some really awesome people–we’ve invited our favorite creatives, entrepreneurs, and friends.

Cheers! Hope to see you there.
