The chalet-style home, nestled at the foot of a mountain, is surrounded by woods on three sides — and the perfect, private spot to unwind with friends and family in front of the fire in all seasons.
Should you ever want to leave, the Catskills Cedar House is the perfect home base to explore all the region has to offer. While you’re in town, head to picturesque Main Street in Phoenicia, hit the 3.5 mile Tanbark Trail, then reward yourself with a trip to the Phoenicia Diner, or Woodstock Brewing — or both! Further afoot, the home is just 15 minutes to West Kill, with even better unparalleled scenery, excellent hiking (try Diamond Notch Falls), and the home to what many consider the best brewery in the Catskills: West Kill Brewery.
In winter, snow bunnies will love the proximity of Catskills Cedar House to the slopes – it’s less than 30 minutes to the slopes at Hunter Mountain and Plattekill, and less than 15 to Belleayre. Rates begin at $365/night.
