There’s ample space to stretch your legs on this 13 acre property dotted with orchards and gardens. In warmer months, the blue stone patio with gas grill and fire pit provides the perfect backdrop for your upstate getaway. Radiant heat and a woodstove bring the hygge when temperatures drop.

Only ten minutes from the museum and concert venue of Bethel Woods, site of the original Woodstock. Grab breakfast or lunch at Bethel Market Cafe, and venture just a little further for delicious food and funky ambiance at Henning’s Local, located above a filling station. Rowley House in Eldred, NY

Following an extensive renovation by SOON Architecture Studio, this modern three bedroom cabin with a sauna is filled with treasures from local artisans, designers, and boutique shops. (You may also recognize it in this week’s WSJ Real Estate feature on saunas!)

From top to bottom, the thee-floor house has tons of space to spread out or get cozy. On its basement level, a lovely bedroom has its own bathroom and is also home to the Rowley House sauna and gym. On the main level, find its expansive kitchen, a living room with a cozy wood stove, and two equally lovely bedrooms that share an additional bathroom. On the third floor, a “snug” loft room has treehouse vibes, and is home to the TV (plus a pull-out sofa for movie nights or sleeping kiddos.)

Poets Hill in Hudson, NY

Located on a quiet country road outside of Hudson, NY, Poets Hill was designed with serenity in mind. Rent one or both homes on-site: its pool house accommodates up to four guests in two bedrooms, while its tiny house accommodates two. At the pool house, take advantage of the expansive outdoor area, with a large deck that’s home to a Viking grill/BBQ, sink, and large dining table for al fresco meals, poolside. Its 82 foot pool is open May through October 1, weather permitting.

Goldie Point in Barnegat Light, NJ
