Here’s some cool gear you should know about: creative studio Zio & Sons paired up with ONA Bags to create the perfect backpack for travelers. We’re really into it.

A year in the making, the collaboration was led by stylist, photographer, interior designer, and constant traveler Anthony D’Argenzio of Zio & Sons. As the bag was being designed, Anthony was simultaneously gutting and renovating a rentable weekend space called This Old Hudson (pictured below.) His constant travel between New York City and Hudson drove the design of the bag, which was created with his upstate/downstate commutes in mind.

The bag features a dedicated area for a 13” laptop, plus a fully-removable padded camera insert that fit seamlessly inside the backpack. The insert can accommodate 1 DSLR camera with a lens attached and 1-2 additional lenses. It’s handcrafted from premium un-dyed waxed canvas, full-grain leather, and solid brass hardware.

The bag will be sold at This Old Hudson, the new space owned and operated by Zio & Sons, ONA.com, and Hudson-based boutique Hawkins New York for $469 while supplies last. $10 from every bag purchased on ONA’s website supports grants for emerging storytellers through their Storytelling Fund.
