Following an extensive renovation by SOON Architecture Studio, this modern three bedroom cabin with a sauna is filled with treasures from local artisans, designers, and boutique shops. (You may also recognize it from this week’s WSJ Real Estate feature on saunas!)
From top to bottom, the three-floor house has tons of space to spread out. On its basement level, a lovely bedroom has its own bathroom; it’s also home to the Rowley House sauna and home gym. On the main level, find an expansive kitchen, well-appointed bathroom, a living room with a cozy wood stove, and two sunny bedrooms overlooking the forest. On the third floor, a “snug” loft room has treehouse vibes, and is home to the TV (plus a pull-out sofa for movie nights or sleeping kiddos.) Last but not least, an expansive deck on the second level is the perfect spot for outdoor drinks and meals.
Rowley House is super central for exploration through the Delaware River Valley, with cute river towns (Callicoon, Narrowsburg, Barryville to name a few), loads of farm-to-table restaurants and outdoor attractions. Put these regional gems on your travel itinerary:
