This magical retreat (rentable via StayMarquis) is one of the Hamptons’ last affordable getaways, where eight adorable bungalows sit facing Moriches Bay, steps away from a private beach.
Each bungalow is connected through a series of boardwalks heading to the water, perfect for sunset watching and easy mornings on the hotel’s complimentary stand-up paddleboards. Spend afternoons at the strip of private beach accessible to guests just across the street; then head back late for an outdoor shower followed by dinner over the grill or in the bungalow kitchenettes.
Beach & Bay Bungalows is part of Stay Marquis, a boutique rental company specializing in beautiful, thoughtfully designed spaces. Offerings range from the cute & intimate @beachandbaybungalows in West Hampton to beach mansions in Montauk… to mountain houses in the Berkshires and Hudson Valley.
While you’re in town, take the hotel bikes for a spin to John Scott’s Surf Shack, or down to Cupsoque Beach for sunset stroll. (There’s a great walk just past the trailer/camping area.) Stock up on groceries before you arrive (including staples like olive oil, S&P) — it feels almost unfair to have leave the beach vibes and run to town after checking in.
Last thing of note: the Bungalows are open through October 31, potentially longer depending on weather (hellooo, off-season!)
