In the late 1800s, a barn was built near the foot of Overlook Mountain. In the 1970s, it was converted into a sun-drenched getaway where friends and family came to explore dense forest, listen to cicadas hum by the pond, and spend evenings by the fire sharing stories.
Today, it’s @stayglasco, located on 16 acres and sleeping up to 16 friends and family in six bedrooms. It’s quite a treat to wake up in the house’s main suite, which overlooks a koi pond and beyond that, Overlook Mountain. Two bedrooms upstairs have their own ensuites, while downstairs two additional bedrooms share an additional bathroom. A separate studio is just steps from the main house for even more guests.
All can gather in the large living room around the fireplace, soak in the sun on the gorgeous screened-in porch, or hang and grill on the bluestone patio. At night, stargaze from the hot tub — steps from a freestanding bonfire, or take all in from a larger stone firepit in the field.
