Rowley House in Eldred, NY

Following an extensive renovation by SOON Architecture Studio, this modern three bedroom cabin with a sauna is filled with treasures from local artisans, designers, and boutique shops. (You may also recognize it from this week’s WSJ Real Estate feature on saunas!)

From top to bottom, the three-floor house has tons of space to spread out. On its basement level, a lovely bedroom has its own bathroom; it’s also home to the Rowley House sauna and home gym. • Stop into Churchill Afterhours, serving up speciality coffee inside the incredible classic car showroom and garage Churchill Classics;
• Check out the nearby town of Barryville, making stops at Barryville General, 2 Queens Coffee, Barryville Oasis, various antique shops, Cottage Wines, and shop Saturday’s Barryville Farmers’ Market;
• Hit the nearby trails like Mongaup River Trail and the Tusten Mountain Trail;
• Take a scenic drive on the Hawk’s Nest Highway overlooking the Delaware River.
