Tucked away on nine private mountaintop acres, Casa Magda is the perfect spot for a cool-kids getaway to the Catskill Mountains. Inside the house, minimalist sensibility, mid-century treasures, and a playful collection of vintage furniture coexists to create a fun vibe; at night, the living room transforms into a dance floor, with the help of mood lighting consisting of neon lights, and of course, a disco ball. Use the hand-picked vinyl on hand (or a Sonos amp) for the perfect dance party soundtrack. All four bedrooms are located on the main level, while upstairs a loft has been transformed into an entertainment room and boasts a 100” projection screen. Guests can choose from a curated collection of Blu-Rays and DVDs from comedy to drama, horror to anime—movie night is made complete with a Bose surround sound system. This mountain retreat feels a world away from it all, but it's just 5 minutes into the town of Windham for supply runs, hiking, or winter sports at Windham Mountain. Further afoot, other nearby adventures include waterfalls, swimming holes, and charming towns throughout the Northern Catskills.
